Sounders FC vs Club America, lineups: Just as you'd imagine

The Rave Green is starting exactly who you expected and who you want starting in leg 1 against the Mexican Giants, Club America.

HGP Jordan Morris will start his first competitive match for the Sounders pairing up with Captain America and Nelson Valdez in a lineup that should produce plenty attacking flair. Friberg, Ivanschitz and Alonso make up a midfield trio that was plenty dominate against LA and will be threatened but shouldn't break.

Questions exist in the defense with how Joevin Jones will do attach and defend but the rest is the leadership of a stout defense from last year with Sheriff Evans, Air Marshall, and Ty Mears making a wall in front of Frei. It'll be tough but this is going to be fun attacking soccer from the men in green.

Seattle's bench lacks firepower with Sturgis and Scott being the veterans and Kovar and Darwin Jones being asked to provide offense off the bench. Cristian Roldan and Oneil Fisher make up the other position players and Tyler Miller snatching the backup spot from Charlie Lyon.

Club America: Hugo Gonzalez, Paolo Goltz, Miguel Samudio, Pablo Aguilar, Paul Aguilar, Osvaldo Martinez, Rubens Sambueza, Brian Lozano, Jose Guerrero, Oribe Peralta, Darwin Quintero.

That's a pretty solid mix of starters and regulars, with the exception of Hugo Gonzalez who's in for their injured goalkeeper Moises Munoz.
