There's a whole list of things that players aren't supposed to do according the newly released MLS Collective Bargaining Agreement. Although it doesn't explicitly list "playing basketball barefooted or in sandals", it probably should.
Still, it was pretty cool to see Aaron Kovar (listed at 5-foot-10) and Chad Marshall (listed at 6-foot-4) going after one another on the pickup courts in Tucson, Ariz.
Kovar got the early jump on Marshall, as you can see.
But Marshall wised up and kicked off those ridiculous sandals and gave one right back to Kovar.
While we applaud Kovar for the confidence in going shirtless in this video, we'd suggest he might want to rethink those shorts in the future.
