Power Ranking Average continue over at RSL Soap Box, and the consensus is the the Seattle Sounders are a basement dweller at 17th. The rankings ranged from 3rd to 19th.

Sure, Cyle Larin is good, exceptionally good when you consider he tore up the league in just his rookie season. But why is he racking up the goals, what are his strengths and weaknesses? The Mane Land answers these questions in "Anatomy of a Striker."

Didier Drogba has been enjoying the California weather and natural grass while training with Sacramento Republic FC, saving his 38-year-old knees. No matter what you think of that, it sounds like the Impact star has been a gracious guest on the team.

Alejandro Bedoya admits he was fairly close to joining the Philadelphia Union, and even closer to joining the Colorado Rapids in the last two years, but the deals didn't quite work. On the other hand, he does want to come to MLS, and doesn't rule out the possibility of joining the Sounders the league in the Summer.

More of the W-M formation? Playing with four strikers and three pure defenders? These are definitely on the table for NYCFC head coach Patrick Vieira. At the very least NYC will be a fun team to watch this season.

Toronto FC rookie Tsubasa Endoh was born in Tokyo, but played his college soccer at Maryland. Barely into his professional career, the Japanese media are already hounding him after games, which has taken him by surprise.

Gideon Baah, New York Red Bulls' new defender, definitely took an unusual path to a professional career, starting with a reality TV show in his native Ghana where he won a trial with Chelsea. If he had managed to get a work permit at that point, his story might have gone very differently.

SB Nation is doing their own MLS Player of the Week poll, with blackjack and hookers more transparency compared to the official one. This week's winner is Andrew Wenger, edging out Dom Dwyer.

The attendance numbers for the Montreal Impact have been solid, but Joey Saputo still wants more, setting a goal of 34,000 per match.

The Rapids' front office and coaching staff has taken a lot of heat for some pretty abysmal results in recent seasons. After a 1-0 win over the Galaxy and other promising signs, are the Rapids top brass off the hook?

The Sounders and the Seattle Reign have both enjoyed much regular season success, but fallen short of the final hurdle of a league championship (the Sounders have fallen a bit shorter). Don Ruiz considers the different approaches of the two teams to reaching that final level of glory.

Clint Dempsey tends to be short-winded in interviews, but here he talks in a bit of detail about the team's offensive struggles in the young season and how it can all come together with time.

The injury that kept Stefan Frei out of last week's match was an unusual one, a bit of a bone chip causing lots of inflammation in his elbow, but he says he's good to go. He also comments on the fateful 86th minute misplay by Tyler Miller.

If you want to attend GeekWire's Sports Tech Summit (the one sponsored by the Sounders that ends in attending a Sounders home match), you can win tickets through the site's March Madness bracket contest.

US Soccer

As the USA U23s approach an Olympics playoff tie with Colombia, not much is known about the list of Colombian players, and the final roster for the Americans is unknown due to clubs not having yet officially released players for the game. Next week will be fun!

Did you miss that these new US kits were revealed? Or do you choose to ignore that it ever happened and think of it as a bad dream?. Well, here they are. If you want, you could pretend that the designs actually looked like these, mocked up by a fan and designer.

Thomas Muller doesn't necessarily look like much, but he is amazing, and continues to play the hero for club and country.

David Beckham continues to be famous and rich, no word on that MLS team everyone keeps mentioning.

Sepp Blatter would like the Court for Arbritration in Sport to reverse his ban from FIFA.

Most soccer fans can name at least one player who was red carded in the final match of his career, but here are the stories of some other cases that are much more obscure.

CNN takes a look inside "China's $185 million football factory."
