Seattle Sounders will be without Clint Dempsey during their bye week. The forward is going to be with Jurgen Klinsmann and the United States National Team as they prepare and play two matches against Guatemala. Seattle is among the 14 teams respecting this international break.

Dempsey is off to a slow start in competitive matches for the Sounders, but will have high demands against Guatemala. He is the leading scorer among the 26 players called up and a forward set that includes the injured Jozy Altidore. Bobby Wood, Chris Wondolowski and Gyasi Zardes are the other forwards.

This means that Seattle's ability to refine its attack during the off week will be greatly reduced. Jordan Morris will be with Olympic team as announced yesterday. Tyler Miller found out yesterday that he is replacing Zach Steffen. Cristian Roldan is an alternate for the U23s, and so could join that camp later.

The matches against Guatemala are March 25th at 7 PM on BeIN Sport and NBC Universo (Spanish). Then Columbus hosts the World Cup Qualifier on March 29th at 4 PM with ESPN2, UniMas, and UDN carrying the match.

America currently sits atop its group with four points in two played. They have a +5 goal differential. Guatemala is 3rd in the group with 3 points and +3 GD.
