Seattle Reign vs. UW: Photos

On Saturday night, Seattle Reign FC won their final match of the 2016 preseason. And frankly, going up against a college team (even my alma mater!), that was rather expected.

But they did it with that style and dominance that we have grown quite accustomed to over the past few seasons. All while several of the regular starters (Little, Fishlock, Corsie, and Solo) were away on international duty.

One of the offseason signings, Dutch striker Manon Melis, was very fun to watch. Strong, fast, and crafty, it will be fun to watch her and Kim Little cut through defenses. If you're still mourning "Clinfemi" just wait for "Lilis" (or perhaps "Mettle?") to dominate opponents in their own fashion.

I can't wait for next Sunday's season opener. Are you going, too?
