Sounders vs. Montreal Impact: Community player ratings form

Jennifer Buchanan-USA TODAY Sports

It feels good to wake up and rate the players in a victory, right? No one would call this a perfect performance, but some excellent defensive play kept a clean sheet, and a stop-and-go offense squeezed in a goal at the other end. It was certainly a match to build on.

We the raters get to consider a different-looking team this week. Clint Dempsey occupied a more central role at most times, Aaron Kovar pushed Jordan Morris to the bench, and Dylan Remick stepped on for Joevin Jones, who had a long week of travel and international play. Besides the warm fuzzy feeling of three points, how did the individual players do against l'Impact de Montréal?

Here's the scale:

Blank - player did not play enough to judge
1 - not a pro (USL/NASL/MLS) quality performance
4 - average USL starter
6 - average MLS starter
9 - MLS All Star
10 - MLS MVP-quality performance
