Is he the next star in the Galaxy? All the reaction to Kei Kamara landing with New England. CONCACAF has a new, non-indicted Canadian president.

Zlatan, Zlatan, Zlatan. The rumors won't die. One thing is clear: Ibra is leaving Paris Saint-Germain:

Now, it's not clear where he's going, but there is a strong stench of LA Galaxy rumors hanging about, thanks to an Italian report claiming a deal in SoCal is almost done (and with LAFC still being in its infancy, that just leaves one club). How to make room for the Zlatan in LA, with three DP spots occupied? Unknown, but it is known that Steven Gerrard misses "the cold weather" of Liverpool.

Get ready to pony up, though, LA, because the Zlatan is right at the top of a certain other MLS team's discovery list (as well as who knows how many others').

You people won't have any idea what this is like, but over in Orlando there are folks calling for the firing of head coach Adrian Heath after nine games in their second season after joining the league. I should add that they are 5th in the East, in comfortable playoff position at this early point in the season. Gavin Ewbank of the Mane Land talks those people down from the ledge. Maybe they're just mad because he can't stay off the field during play.

You are probably aware at this point that Kei Kamara, after much public complaining about his teammate, was shipped off at the last minute of deadline day to the New England Revolution, for many TAMs and GAMs and picks and spots.

Here for the reaction from New England, the Bent Musket's take on the new and shiny striker who will presumably not prevent goals, a glaring need of the Revs at the moment.

For a look back at Kamara's time with the Black and Gold and what led to his departure,we turn back to Massive Report for a timeline of everything you need to know.

Don Garber heaped praise on Gio Dos Santos, and said he would love for more Mexican players to ply their trade in MLS, noting that about a third of MLS' fan base is hispanic.

PRO Continues to be a bit more transparent, with their weekly posts about specific in-game events and whether they were handled correctly. This week it's free kicks on the edge of the penalty area.

Seattle

Hope Solo's grandmother has passed away in Richland. She was a huge supporter of Solo's career and had become a "grandma" to the entire USWNT, even traveling around the world to several Olympics to watch the women compete.

Here is the meeting recap for the Seattle Sounders Alliance Council's May 3rd meeting at the NINETY, including discussions of the new bag policy and mobile ticketing issues.

Other US Leagues

Here is the story of the American Soccer League, a would-be professional development league with big ideas, like a year-round schedule and strict foreign-player restrictions. It has not appeared to achieve those goals, and its public face doesn't appear to stand up to scrutiny.

The NASL's Jacksonville Armada has sold midfielder Richie Ryan across Florida to Miami FC for a whopping $750,000 transfer fee.

The USL's Harrisburg City Islanders will henceforth be known as the City Islanders Football Club, as they look to expand their fanbase to a more regional level.

The UPSL's LA Wolves lost to the PDL's Ventura County Fusion in the opening round of the US Open Cup, but that result may be overturned, since the Wolves are protesting what they say was the Fusion's use of an already cup-tied player in that match.

World

Syracuse University's Falk College has become the first U.S. university to offer an undergraduate degree in Sports Analytics.

CONCACAF has a new president, Canada's Victor Montagliani, after literally everyone else was indicted for something or other. This almost certainly increases the US' voice in CONCACAF business.

Jose Mourinho may not have a job at the moment, besides coaching all-star games, but he is not worried in the least. He says if he signs a contract by June 30th, he'll be happy.
