Major Link Soccer: CCL Group Stage drawn

Omar Gonzalez becomes just the second American player ever to win both the Mexican league and MLS.

The young American centerback wasn't able to get onto Jurgen Klinnsman's Copa America roster, but he sure knows a thing or two about winning league championships.

MLS

DC United's owner looks close to acquiring a European club as well, with reports of his investment group looking to purchase Premiership team Swansea United, or possibly Ligue 1's Olympique Marseille.

Can you name every Sounders FC US Open Cup goal scorer? Dave only got 17,

USA

Omar Gonzalez won the Liga MX Clausura with Pachuca on Sunday in his first year in the league. He celebrated appropriately:

Yesterday saw the drawing of the CONCACAF Champions' League Group Stage on Miami Beach, which will start just before the 2017 MLS season. Here are the groups MLS teams were drawn into; NYRB and FC Dallas probably have the best draw to move forward, while Portland will face a tough trip down to the Purple Monster in Costa Rica.

CCL Group Stage draw:

Group B: CD Dragon (SLV), Deportivo Saprissa (CRC), Portland Timbers (USA)

Group C: Central FC (TRI), Vancouver Whitecaps (CAN), Sporting Kansas City (USA)

Group F: Alianza CF (SLV), Antigua GFC (GUA), New York Red Bulls (USA)

Group H: Real Esteli (NIC), CD Suchitepequez (GUA), FC Dallas (USA)

Mexico

Alan Pulido's escape story is the stuff of legends.

Andres Guardado of PSV and Mexico fame says that MLS may be in his future, but he's uncertain when that will happen.

Copa America Cenetario

The best goalkeeper in the Americas is no longer playing in the Copa. Without Keylar Navas can Costa Rica do anything?
