Apparently Brad Evans is a fast healer. Just a few days after a shot to the side of the head sent him to the locker room and cast his future availability into doubt, the Seattle Sounders captain is back in the starting lineup for a pivotal match against D.C. United.

Evans' inclusion is one of several notable elements to the Sounders' lineup, as Andreas Ivanschitz was moved to the forward line, Cristian Roldan effectively takes Herculez Gomez's spot in the lineup and Dylan Remick replaces Joevin Jones at left back. While it may not be the most offensive-minded lineup, given the Sounders play it at least puts players in positions where they've looked best.
For the Sounders to generate much offense, they'll need Erik Friberg to be the creative force. He's looked reasonably good there when given a chance, but those opportunities have been few so far.
