Jurgen Klinsmann is generally known to fiddle with lineups, but in Saturday's vital match against Paraguay the United States will start the same eleven that beat Costa Rica and lost to Colombia. If the USA wins they advance, a draw probably means they advance as Costa Rica would need to thrash Colombia to pass the Americans on goal differential.
The lineup is listed as a 4-3-3 with Clint Dempsey as the center forward flanked by Bobby Wood and Gyasi Zardes. The midfield is Jermaine Jones, Alejandro Bedoya and Micheal Bradley. The backline features Fabian Johnson, John Brooks, Geoff Cameron and former Sounder DeAndre Yedlin. Brad Guzan remains the keeper.
Paraguay is not starting Seattle Sounder Nelson Haedo Valdez.
For my Yank friends... #Paraguay XI Villar, Da Silva, Balbuena, Gomez, Samudio; Gonzalez, Ayala, Ortiz, Almiron, Lezcano, Sanabria
