Sigi Schmid's 500th MLS game is a road trip out to Harrison, New Jersey to face the New York Red Bulls. Like the Sounders, Red Bull has seven losses and a draw. Their three additional points come from an extra match which they won. RBNY is good at home (5-2-0) and the Sounders are poor on the road (1-4-1), but fair well against Eastern Conference sides.

Nelson Haedo Valdez is back from his unimpressive Copa America trip and is available for selection. Sigi will still be without Clint Dempsey for another week. Roman Torres remains on the Disabled List.

Players like Joevin Jones and Jordan Morris will need to carry the attacking load. The backline and central defense should be able to do their usually strong job, even against a high-powered attacked like Red Bull.
