Without Clint Dempsey Sigi Schmid will look to Joevin Jones and Jordan Morris to continue their goal scoring magic. Those two are listed as forwards in the 4-3-3 with Aaron Kovar on the right. Jones could also play as a left mid with Andreas Ivanschitz as a withdrawn forward in a 4-4-1-1.

The midfield also has the consistent strength of Osvaldo Alonso and Erik Friberg's prowess with the long ball. The three forwards have plenty of pace to beat the pressure that Red Bull often applies.

Stepping into the backline for Joevin is Dylan Remick. Chad Marshall and Brad Evans are both back with dependable Tyrone Mears on the right.

Both Oalex Anderson and Nelson Haedo Valdez are back on the bench. They join Herculez Gomez as scoring options late. Cristian Roldan is the lone midfield sub with Zach Scott and Oniel Fisher available if the backline needs help. Tyler Miller maintains his spot as the number two keeper.
