Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

Seattle:

Steve Zakuani  offers his unique perspective on the Cascadia rivalry. While rich in history, the rivalry has differing perceptions across both sides of I-5, from the locker room to the stands. That being said, it wouldn't be a surprise if the rivalry spills out into the Cascadia Pokestops and gyms in the future.

NWSL:

Women that chase their dreams of playing professional soccer often most do so against the harsh backdrop of low pay, bringing reality back into the life of a professional.

MLS:

Despite several weeks of keeping the MLS rumor mill churning, it looks like Racing's Oscar Romero isn't heading to the league anytime soon- reportedly rejecting an MLS offer.

The World:

Samuel Eto'o's charity match appears to have been canceled followed by last night's attempted military coup in Turkey. Featuring Leo Messi and Eden Hazard, the match was to be held in Antalya, Turkey.

Liga MX's recent rule limiting foreign players is going to hurt the development of young Mexican players moving forward, per Rafa Marquez.

United States:

United States international Danny Williams may be on the move, from Reading with Leeds and Wolverhampton eyeing the midfielder.
