We here at Sounder at Heart are giving you a daily Olympic open thread. And since we are a soccer site, it naturally focuses on soccer. Well today is a rest day for the soccer tournament as the semi-finals came to an end on Wednesday with the Gold Medal matches set. Germany plays Sweden on Friday in the women's final (Sounder at Heart Watch Party Alert!) and Brazil plays Germany on Saturday in the men's final.

We will have a soccer preview and a gamethread on both Friday and Saturday for the Gold Medal and Bronze Medal matches, but for now let's focus on our other daily feature.
