Sounders vs. Timbers, lineups: Third time's the charm?

Fanendo Adi out for the Timbers.

Coming off a pair of wins in which they've played about as well as they have all year, the Seattle Sounders will be rolling out the same starting lineup for a third consecutive game. This is the first time all year the Sounders have managed to do that.

The bench will also look very similar to how it has in recent weeks: Miller, Scott, Friberg, Fernandez, Anderson, Gomez, Valdez.

Perhaps more notable is who won't be available for the Portland Timbers, who will be without the services of leading scorer Fanendo Adi.

Adi being out is, apparently, a purely tactical decision. Adi hasn't been bad, by any means, but only two of his 11 goals have come in the Timbers' last nine games.
