Roman Torres will likely make his 2016 Seattle Sounders debut tonight after he was removed from the Disabled List on Tuesday. Although his role is still undetermined, head coach Brian Schmetzer made it clear that he plans to get the Panamanian center back onto the pitch sooner than later.
“It gives me a big smile on my face,” Schmetzer said. “He’s ready to go. We’re happy to have him back, fully, officially.”
To mark the occasion, Torres also sent out a thank you note to some of his friends, teammates and colleagues.
