Jurgen Klinsmann’s latest callups are similar to most of his other calls. Nineteen of the 26 players called to face St. Vincent and the Grenadines as well as Trinidad and Tobago were at the Copa America. Only five of the players have yet to represent the United States in World Cup qualifying - Kellyn Acosta, Paul Arriola, Ethan Horvath, Rubio Rubin, Caleb Stanko.

For Jordan Morris this is further confirmation that he is not a fringe player with the US, but part of its future. Morris is one of five forwards on the roster. He, Rubin and Wondolowski are forwards who have yet to score in World Cup Qualifying entering the two-match set. Altidore has 13 such goals and Wood has one.

Former Seattle Sounders defender DeAndre Yedlin continues to get called as well, even as he just joins Newcastle United in the Championship.

Clint Dempsey will not be involved with the camp and matches due to the studies of his irregular heartbeat.

The US plays St. Vincent and the Grenadines on September 2nd at 12:30 PM Pacific (BeIN Sports). Trinidad and Tobago travel to Jacksonville, Florida for the September 6th game at 5 PM Pacific (FS1, UniMas). Currently the US is second in their group. Winning both games would assure advancement.

Joevin Jones will face the US as he reps T&T. S2 forward Myron Samuel plays for Vincy Heat, with Oalex Anderson still not announced also joining the squad.
