Seattle Sounders U16s traveled to Sheffield, England, for the Youdan Trophy. It pitted them against Newcastle United, Charlton Athletic and FAB’s 16s in the Group Stage. The Sounders started off by winning, and ended by winning the whole thing. There was a lot of winning as they beat Newcastle, FAB, Wolverhampton (semis) and Basel (final). Only Charlton Athletic managed to not lose - they drew 3-3 and were the only team to score more than a goal.
The leading scorer is a Sounder. Azriel Gonzalez put 5 in the net.
The player of the tournament is a Sounder - Daniel Robles.
This is how they beat Wolverhampton.
