Brad Evans was unable to make a semi-miraculous recovery and will not be available for Saturday's Cascadia Cup clash with the Vancouver Whitecaps. Joevin Jones and Jordan Morris, both of whom were unable to full participate in training this week, were able to get ready in time for the match. As it turned out, the only change to the starting lineup from last week is Alvaro Fernandez effectively replacing Erik Friberg.

Fernandez's insertion is not a straight swap, though. Instead, he'll move into the right mid position previously occupied by Cristian Roldan, who will move back to defensive mid alongside Osvaldo Alonso.
Here's how the bench will look: Miller, Fisher, Scott, Friberg, Gomez, Valdez, Anderson.
The Whitecaps will deploy a lineup that features six starters who will be on short rest after starting against Sporting Kansas City earlier this week in CONCACAF Champions League play.
