Fredy Montero hasn’t dominated the Chinese Super League to quite the degree we thought he might, but the former Seattle Sounders forward is having himself a pretty solid season with nine goals in 24 appearances.
Two of those goals came in Tianjin Teda’s most recent game — a 4-1 win — and both were mighty impressive.

The first comes on a volley after a corner kick deflected out to Montero about 12 yards out. That gave Tianjin Teda a 1-0 lead.
The other gives Tianjin Teda a 3-0 lead and is even more impressive in a way, as Montero hits a completely blind header to beat the onrushing goalkeeper to the ball.
