Head Coach Brian Schmetzer goes with no changes to the XI that earned the win against the Whitecaps. Against an LA Galaxy team that is better at goal prevention they’ll need to top the 1-nil from last week.

Neither Aaron Kovar nor Brad Evans made the 18 despite being eligible. Erik Friberg is also out meaning that Nathan Sturgis is the lone midfield sub.
Valdez, Gomez and Anderson are the attacking options off the bench. Fisher and Scott continue to be the defensive options in the 18.
LA is not starting Steven Gerrard, a small gift as the Galaxy will attempt to get defensive efforts from Husidic, Lletget and Boateng.

These two XIs should lead to several goal-scoring opportunities for both sides. LA will be able to have success on the flanks, while the Sounders can go right up the gut.
