Roman Torres appears to have started a new post-victory tradition

But seriously, how much fun are the Sounders having right now?

They were singing and dancing in the Seattle Sounders’ postgame locker room, again. Not only has the long-time tradition of singing “Sounders win away” apparently remained — something Nelson Valdez’s Instagram documented — but Roman Torres appears to have instituted a new ritual: a postgame dance party.

This is the second straight week that Torres has wrested control of the celebratory stereo and put on an impressive show for his clearly amused teammates. (The song is “Tic Toc” by Salty, in case you’re interested.) Torres even gets a smile out of Nicolas Lodeiro, who didn’t look quite as entertained during last week’s dance session.

The only disappointing part of this video was Torres failing in his attempt to get two-goal scorer Jordan Morris to join him. But there may be hope on that front!

Maybe that will be part of the evolving tradition: The MC (apparently Torres for now) will invite whoever was the player of the game to share in a victory dance. That could be pretty fun!
