As the Seattle Reign FC prepare for the 2017 season, their fifth in existence, another Reign Original will be on hand for it. The club announced today that Kiersten Dallstream re-signed with the team.

While listed as a forward, Dallstream has been a multi-role option for Laura Harvey, spending plenty of time on the defensive line, in the midfield, and up top. It’s that versatility that’s amassed in 55 total appearances for Dallstream that head coach/general manager Laura Harvey looks to continue upon and feature as a starter for the 2017 squad.

“I know that she wants to push to start which is great,” said Harvey in the team’s announcement. “Her pace and direct run in is something that, especially in training, the girls fear and we want to try and get that a lot more against the opposition this year.”

Dallstream’s return brings Reign FC’s roster to 16 out of the 20 possible spots. While the 2017 Reign FC roster is certainly going to have a lot of new faces, there core of familiar faces will still be there, and Dallstream is one of them and will be looking to have a bigger impact in the upcoming season.
