MLS

Orlando City SC’s Captain, Kaka, has announced that he will not renew his contract after this season.

Getting on Twitter and saying you will do something to your body if a player or team does something in general is not always the best thing. Well, Sam Jones of Dirty South Soccer did just that.

There was one MLS game on last night and it helped the Sounders, in a way. The Houston Dynamo beat Sporting Kansas City 2-1 and kept Sporting just one point ahead of Seattle in the standings.

USA

The American Outlaws released a statement following the United States World Cup Qualifying Elimination.

It’s time to make sweeping changes across all of the United States Soccer Federation and that change should start from Sunil Gulati on down.

In case you didn’t know, the United States does, in fact, have a successful National Team. Since Russia 2018 won’t have the USMNT, it’s time to start getting behind the USWNT.

Deposed soccer quasi-despot Jack Warner was certainly happy about the US loss.

World

Liverpool’s Sadio Mane suffered a hamstring injury while on international duty the Senegal and will be out about six weeks. People are asking who will fill the void - Philippe Coutinho could be the answer.

Even though the winter window is more than six weeks away from opening, the rumors are already heating up. Of particular note, Barcelona intends to make another run at the aforementioned Coutinho.
