Sounders fans unveil epic Decision Day tifo

On a day of massive importance for the Seattle Sounders’ playoff run, the home fans delivered possibly their best tifo of the season. The huge display included painted images of mosaic stained glass-like illustrations of various Sounders players above the line “our love for you only the gods can understand.”

The painted portion of the choreo was 13,500 square feet of painted fabric spanning seven stadium sections. Including the black cards (actually plastic) used as a background it was the largest display in ECS history, and the first to include participation of the 300 level. The Emerald City Supporters’ tifo displays are designed and produced with a 100% volunteer team of hard working individuals who all contribute to concept, design, production and deployment.
