Toronto FC’s appeal of Jozy Altidore’s red card was denied. He will not be able to play in the first leg of the Eastern Conference Finals after his red card was upheld. The MLS disciplinary committee still needs to rule as well, meaning he could still miss more than one game.

Sounds like New York City FC is about to make another Pirlo-style mistake. There are talks that Yaya Toure may be on his way to New York from Manchester City. Hudson River Blue thinks Toure is the wrong move for New York City FC.


Sounds like Real Salt Lake will have a team join the NWSL. FC Kansas City, 2014 and 2015 NWSL Champions, will cease to exist and Real Salt Lake will get a new team. Real will become the fourth MLS team to own an NWSL club following Portland, Houston and Orlando.
