SEATTLE — Clint Dempsey continued to show why he’s one of the best big-game players in American soccer history, grabbing the game-winner and then adding an insurance goal in the Seattle Sounders’ 2-0 win over the Vancouver Whitecaps on Thursday.
The first goal was especially impressive, featuring some quality buildup and a classy finish. As great of a goal as it was, it’s somehow better with the Spanish commentary.

One of the low-key great moments of this is the announcer saying “Mister” Cristian Roldan, just before he slips a pass to Will Bruin. Kinda just brings the whole thing together. There’s also the gorgeous Bruin backheel and the perfect Harry Shipp “slip” pass. Wonderful stuff.
