The second leg of the Western Conference Finals wasn’t supposed to go like this. The Seattle Sounders brought two goals back to the Northwest. It was time to bunker, time to hang on for dear life. Instead, your Sounders fielded an attacking lineup and turned on the style. The Sounders knew they were the better team and spent 90 minutes making sure the Houston Dynamo knew it, too. Victor Rodriguez, Clint Dempsey, and Will Bruin scored goals. Stefan Frei kept another clean sheet. Harry Shipp (remember Harry Shipp?) made the pass of his life. Jordy Delem got his face mushed into the CenturyLink Field turf. Roman Torres danced.
The Sounders are headed back to the MLS Cup Final. Rate ‘em on how they got there.
