The Seattle Sounders’ second consecutive trip to Toronto for the MLS Cup final could not have gone more differently than the first. Rather than repeating as champions, the Sounders were outplayed to a degree that was hard to fully understand. The Sounders came in confident but ultimately ended in tears.
