United States vs. Jamaica: Time, live stream, TV schedule and 3 things to know

The USMNT head to Chattanooga to host Jamaica in their second and last friendly before March’s crucial World Cup Qualifiers. Three Big Storylines, National TV and Streaming Listings. Here is your Sounder at Heart USMNT Friendly Gamethread

United States v Jamaica - FIFA 2014 World Cup Qualifier
The last time Brad Evans played against Jamaica, this happened.

Three Big Storylines:

  1. This is the last USMNT game before two must win World Cup qualifiers in March and will be the last time players can impress new manager Bruce Arena. With Michael Bradley anchored as the holding midfielder and Jermaine Jones suspended for the March 24th match against Honduras, the question is who will partner Bradley in midfield? Today looks to be Sebastian Lletget’s tryout for the role. Sacha Kljestan was allowed to leave camp after the Serbia game as his wife is expected to give birth soon. So this will also likely be Benny Feilhaber’s first start for the USMNT since rejoining the team with the departure of Jurgen Klinsmann.
  2. After playing with a lone forward against Serbia, Bruce Arena has admitted that the USMNT will line up with two forwards against Jamaica. Does that mean that Jordan Morris gets the start alongside Jozy Altidore? Morris, Altidore and Juan Agudelo are the only forwards in camp. Along with two forwards, Arena has also stated that we will see a different formation form the 4-1-4-1 deployed against Serbia and that Walker Zimmerman and Jorge Villafaña will both start.
  3. This is the first trip for the USMNT to Chattanooga and will be the first time the USMNT has played a home match on artificial turf since 1994 when the USA hosted Russia in the Kingdome. As of Thursday night 16,000 of the 20,000 seats have been sold for the game.

From a Sounders Point of View:

Chad Marshall played all 90 minutes against Serbia, Jordan Morris came on in the 74th minute and Brad Evans was an unused substitute. Brad Evans has one USMNT goal in his career, but it was the game winner in Jamaica in a World Cup qualifier for the 2014 World Cup.

Oniel Fisher and former Sounder Damion Lowe are on Jamaica’s roster and will both be getting the start today.
