More details on the Video Assistant Referee system from Don Garber are good news for those excited about the changes coming to MLS. Garber says he wants VAR referees on the sidelines starting after the All Star Game.

Bad News for DeAndre Yedlin, who has been having a very good season. The thigh injury he suffered a couple of weeks ago will sideline him for at least a few more weeks, including of course missing the qualifying matches with the USMNT.

But he is unfortunately not alone, as Fabian Johnson apparently suffered a hamstring strain in his Europa League match yesterday. The US is down a few fullbacks.

Bobby Wood, who is impressing with Hamburg, has garnered interest from clubs around Europe, but his current club would like him exactly where he is, thanks. However, it seems he has a release clause of €10 million, so if that figure is met he could be on the move in the summer.

Athlete Ally published an open letter signed by 55 athletes and others speaking out against the proposed Texas law SB6 restricting choice in the use of bathrooms by transgender individuals. The signers include many MLS, NWSL and US national team soccer players.
