Major Link Soccer: Moving on from Jurgen Klinsmann

When moving on from a long relationship, sometimes the best thing is to make a clean break

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Sounder at Heart and I split up over a long distance relationship about five months ago, but the site made the mistake of not making a clean break and letting me hang around. Now they've got me showing up writing articles again, and everyone is confused about the nature of our relationship (for good reason.)

The US Men's National Team and their extended community needs to learn from our mistake; Bruce Arena has many pronounced strengths and weaknesses, but the knee-jerk reaction go compare everything he does to recently departed (not dead) Jurgen Klinsmann won't do him (or the squad) any good.

Tab Ramos' U-20 Training Camp roster has been revealed; click on for a good look. The camp starts today and runs through April 10.

It's a big day for Washington residents who like to see a melon-sized ball go into a white net: The Gonzaga Bulldogs will play for the NCAA Men's Basketball National Championship today. Gonzaga can be the latest in a string of Washington State-based champions the last seven years.

I am required to clarify that I have not been paid in any form to tell you that there's so much excitement to be found in Spokane right now! Go be a tourist on the East side and REDISCOVER Spokane.

Dirty South Soccer wrote about their observations from Friday's 0-0 Sounders-Atlanta United draw.

There were some impressive attendance numbers out of the USL this weekend, with over 8,000 in San Antonio and 11,569 for Sacramento Republic's victory over Orange County SC. Sammy Ochoa earned a brace in the game with two goals in the first 60 minutes.

Emerson Hyndman, the American Ranger, might get swooped up by Celtic in a plot of House of Cards proportions.

(Sorry for the light links folks. I hope you can understand if I'm a little rusty.)
