Mural memorializes Stefan Frei’s MLS Cup save

We’ve already seen Stefan Frei’s stop of Jozy Altidore’s header emblazoned on shirts, posters and any other number of collectibles. But the mural that just went up in SoDo is probably about as cool as it’s going to get.

From the look of it, this was created by street artist Alexander Codd (aka A.Codd) and commissioned by the Sounders. If you’re interested in seeing it for yourself, it appears to be somewhere on First Avenue near the Filson headquarters.
