For all the positive emotions to come out of Saturday’s 1-0 win over Real Salt Lake, there was at least one potentially significant negative. Just before the final whistle, Will Bruin was fighting for a ball in the corner when he went down awkwardly and appeared to be in a significant amount of pain.
After the game, head coach Brian Schmetzer didn’t seem particularly worried only saying “He’s fine, he’s a tough kid.” Bruin was also seen in the locker room clearly in pain, but not in a sling. It turns out, it may be a little more serious than that.
Thanks everyone for all the well wishes! Turns out, a dislocated elbow is a little painful. Only a minor setback, I'll be back soon!

The key, of course, will be the extent of this injury. Healing time could take anywhere from 2-5 weeks, assuming this was a full dislocation. At the very least, it seems a safe bet that Bruin will miss Saturday’s game against the Portland Timbers. We’ll hopefully be getting more info about a timetable when the Seattle Sounders return to training on Tuesday
