Seattle Sounders FC are in middle of their second set of three games in eight days. Wednesday’s match at the Columbus Crew SC is made all the more difficult due to Bruce Arena calling two players into United States national team camp. Fitness, injury and call-ups will force Brian Schmetzer to dig as deep into his attacking depth as he has had to do with the defense for most of the season. If ever he were to try and steal a point with a 0-0 draw, it would be this game.

Injuries and Suspensions
This section is dumb. Clint Dempsey and Jordan Morris are with the US National Team outside of the international window. Will Bruin and Henry Wingo are both listed as out. Reports say that Chad Marshall did not travel. Roman Torres is listed as questionable. Tony Alfaro has been limited in practice recently, but has not appeared on the injured list.
Columbus will be without Gaston Sauro and Ben Swanson. Harrison Afful and Dilly Duka are listed as questionable. Jukka Raitala, Adam Jahn and Alfaro are all two yellows away from an accumulation suspension.
