PORTLAND, Ore. — You may remember that ESPN had planned to show live feeds dedicated to supporter sections for Sunday’s Sounders-Timbers game. Understandably, the plans were scrapped after both supporters groups complained to their respective front offices.
Part of why those cameras weren’t entirely necessary, though, was supporters tend to do a pretty good job of filming themselves. For instance, there’s no way any network cameras were going to better share the unbridled joy in the away section on Clint Dempsey’s equalizer than what this fan shot:

First off, full credit to @FelixForever34 for having the foresight to even turn on the camera in this moment. It’s also somehow perfect that the reaction is so loud that it blows out the speaker. The speaker is still crackling in the next video:

Sometimes, it’s better to leave these things to the amateurs. The imperfections in these kinds of videos are part of what makes them so great.
