Well, the Portland Timbers let the Seattle Sounders stay in the game until the end, and sometimes that comes back to bite you. If that sounds like how this article started last time around, that’s because it is, with some team names moved around. The 10-man Sounders held on to stay within a goal and Clint Dempsey once again crushed the Timbers’ hopes and dreams, and for that brief moment, all was right with the world.
