US Open Cup

In the first upset of the Round of 16 in the US Open Cup, Miami FC knocked off Atlanta United FC 3-2 behind Kwadwo Poku’s 90’+3’ game-winning goal.

Sporting Kansas City continued their march for their fourth US Open Cup trophy with a 2-0 win over the Houston Dynamo.

The New England Revolution came back from an early one goal deficit to beat D.C. United 2-1.

The LA Galaxy were able to avoid an upset bid from Sacramento Republic FC, winning 2-0, and will face the San Jose Earthquakes in the quarterfinals.

MLS

LAFC will become MLS’ newest club in 2018. The latest rumors have LAFC pursuing Wesley Sneijder.
