The Seattle Sounders are continuing a trend of winning their home games, pretty much a requirement to stay in playoff contention as we approach the halfway point of the season. That they did it without Jordan Morris and Clint Dempsey is an encouraging sign for a team that will need to find ways to deal with their absences later in the summer.
This games featured an interesting lineup, with Cristian Roldan in an advanced central midfield position, a bionic Will Bruin back at striker, and Gustav Svensson in his most comfortable position in defensive midfield. We also saw the long-awaited return of Aaron Kovar in a substitute appearance. So, how did the individual players do in this one?
