When Steve Zakuani announced that Marshawn Lynch would play in the third annual Zakuani & Friends charity game Beast Mode was retired. Since then Lynch unretired and joined the Oakland Raiders. Lynch still came to the game, and “played.”
In the first half Marshawn strolled the sideline, chatting with people creating and giving big smiles. After the break Lynch came out in his red Kingdom Hope kit, with flip-flops and official Beast Mode socks — yes, Lynch is a socks and sandals guy.
It was pure theatrics Lynch entered the game.
