In case you forgot already, the Sounders scored four goals in 27 minutes to come from three goals down to beat D.C. United 4-3.

Sadly, Nicolas Lodeiro will miss the next game because of the red card he picked up late in the game.

Also, the Sounders did something no MLS team has ever done before.

Seattle is now in sixth place — even though they are tied for fourth with Portland and Vancouver.

MLS returned to action on Wednesday night. New York City FC and Toronto FC battled to a 2-2 draw. It looked like NYCFC would take home all three points, but a late converted penalty by Toronto gave the road team a valuable point.

The Sounders next opponent, the San Jose Earthquakes, got destroyed by the New York Red Bulls 5-1 at Red Bull Arena.

Minnesota United FC and the Houston Dynamo played to an interesting 0-0 draw. Minnesota had 65.9% possession but only managed a total of four shots, three on target. Houston ended the game with 19 shots but only four on target. Got to get them on frame if you want to score.

The Montreal Impact defeated the Philadelphia Union 2-1 at Stade Saputo. Once again, Montreal was able to win without Ignacio Piatti.

Atlanta United FC and Orlando City SC will play each other for the first time ever on Friday. Some Atlanta fans used the Pulse night club tragedy to trash talk.

In response, Atlanta United issue a statement regarding fan behavior.

New England Revolution owner Robert Kraft has been named an honorary chairman of the United States Bid Committee for the 2026 World Cup.

The Portland Timbers and Real Salt Lake game ended 10 v 9, but Salt Lake walked out of Providence Park with a 4-1 win. Portland will take on Vancouver this weekend without Fanendo Adi after he received a red card.

The Vancouver Whitecaps won just their second game in their last five after defeating the LA Galaxy 1-0. LA has now lost three games in a row after going eight unbeaten.

The first two games knockout stage games of the 2017 Gold Cup out of the way. The first game saw Costa Rica advance past Panama 1-0 on an own goal from Panama’s Anibal Godoy in the 77th minute.

The second game of the night saw the United States get past El Salvador 2-0. Both goals came in the final five minutes of the first half, but that was about the only bright spot.

Things got a little weird early in the second half. Watch for yourself. I never thought I would hear a soccer broadcast talk about a player having, just watch.

Chelsea and Real Madrid have come to terms on a deal for Real to send Alvaro Morata for a reported $97 million.

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verrati has signed on with super agent Mino Raiola. Verrati has stated he would like to make a move to Barcelona or Manchester United.

It’s hard to believe that the 2017-18 UEFA Champions League is already underway. Celtic and Legia Warsaw both advanced to the next round by completely destroying their competition.
