CenturyLink Field hosts its second contest between two Seattle and Minnesota based football teams on Sunday night. The 7 PM Pacific match between Seattle Sounders FC and Minnesota United FC is just a couple days after the Seahawks beat the Vikings. The final wave of 2017 food expansion was in place for that NFL preseason game. FoxSports 1 is in town for the game that will start almost immediately after 7 PM.
Center referee for the match is Ismail Elfath. Daniel Radford is the fourth official. Drew Fischer is the VAR.
The Loons are last in the Western Conference with a 6-13-4 -20 record and just 22 points. Their away record is a dismal 0-7-2 -16. They are one of three teams to not yet win away from home.
Sounders enter the weekend second in the West with a 10-7-7 +6 record and 37 points. Seattle is 7-1-3 +9 at home. They’ll be hoping to extend their eight-match unbeaten streak.
