Sounders vs Minnesota United Loons, live stream: Game time, TV schedule and lineups

FS1 starts coverage at 6:30 PM with kick at 7:05 PM Pacific.

Again, the goal is first place. This week’s match against Minnesota United can result in the Seattle Sounders taking first in the West (a draw would mean second, a loss third) and possibly as high as fourth in the Supporters Shield standings. Seattle gets Osvaldo Alonso back as a starter, though Brad Evans is out.

The Loons added several players during the transfer window and are a better team than they were during the four-nil loss in Minneapolis earlier this month.

Look for the Sounders to press throughout the pitch, trying to force a team that struggles to pass quickly to make the errors that plague an expansion side. Seattle is riding an eight-game unbeaten streak overall and have yet to lose in their last seven at home.

Absences: Injury, international duty and suspension

Seattle: Brad Evans is questionable. Lamar Neagle could miss the 18.

Loons: Anor (L Lower Leg), Greenspan (Head), and De Villardi (L Achilles) are all out. Burch (Groin), Cronin (Neck), and Ramirez (R Hamstring) are questionable.

Ibson will be suspended for accumulation on his next yellow. Lamar Neagle, Collen Warner, Johan Venegas, Ismaila Jome, and Bobby Shuttleworth are all two cards away from accumulation.

Ismail Elfath is the center referee. Drew Fischer is the VAR.
