Dempsey and Lodeiro named to Team of the Week

While it was a team effort by the Seattle Sounders in their 4-0 win away to Minnesota United, two performances were deemed to be a cut above the rest. Major League Soccer named both Clint Dempsey and Nicolas Lodeiro to their latest Team of the Week, after the former bagged a brace and an assist, while the latter also had an assist in an all-around excellent showing in Minnesota on Saturday.

Defender Chad Marshall and midfielder Cristian Roldan were also named to the Team of the Week bench.
