Sounders at Real Salt Lake, live stream: Game time, TV schedule and lineups

There was a point when Real Salt Lake and Seattle Sounders met it was a key rivalry game between two upstart expansion sides with high quality and great ambitions. That time is back. Seattle is lead by Garth Lagerwey (formerly of RSL you may have heard) and Brian Schmetzer (Sounder for life) while Salt Lake is under Craig Waibel (a Husky) and Mike Petke (a Red Bull?). The two teams took different paths to get to recapture greatness, and now can be considered as possibilities to win the West in the playoffs.

Seattle needs to unlock their offense while maintaining the great defense that earned them a 13-match unbeaten run. Look for RSL to continue a strong attack that took them from bottom dwellers to likely playoff team.

Absences: Injury, international duty and suspension

Seattle: Brad Evans, Jordan Morris, and Calum Mallace are out. Chad Marshall remains questionable.

RSL: Chad Barrett, Jordan Allen, Omar Holness, and Ricardo Velazco are out. Demar Phillips and Luis Silva are questionable.

Chris Schuler and Sunday Stephen are a single yellow card from suspension for accumulation. Luke Mulholland, Tony Beltran, Chris Wingert, Luis Silva, Kyle Beckerman and Tony Alfaro are two yellows away from the same punishment.

Sorin Stoica is the center referee. Jon Freemon is the VAR.
