This is Seattle’s last chance to get the Cascadia Cup back, and even with a win they will need help. So their last regular season match against the Vancouver Whitecaps takes on a bit more importance. It is already a match between the 4th place Seattle Sounders and the first place ‘Caps. It is probably the most important of the remaining games.

The center referee for the match will be Robert Sibiga. Allen Chapman is manning replay.

Sounders are winless in their last five matches.. Schmetzer’s group enters the weekend 4th in the West and 9th in the Shield race. They are 11-8-11 +5 overall and a solid 8-1-5 +10 at home.

Whitecaps are attempting to go nine unbeaten. Robinson has his team first in the West and 5th overall. They are 14-9-6 +7, and a strong 5-6-2 -3 on the road.
