MLS had their first referee to publicly reveal that he gay. Assistant referee Matthew Nelson did it to "help others".

Atlanta United FC is still rolling. They have yet to lose a game in their brand new stadium and once again scored three goals in their 3-0 win over the Philadelphia Union, the Sounders’ next opponent.

Orlando City SC set a team record for goals scored in their dominate 6-1 win over the New England Revolution.

The LA Galaxy have finally learned how to score goals these last few weeks. Unfortunately they haven’t figure out how to hold onto a lead yet. On Wednesday night, they drew 3-3 against the Houston Dynamo on the road.


The North Carolina Courage won the NWSL Shield with their 4-0 win over the Houston Dash on Wednesday night. It was their 12th shutout of the season, a league record. With a win this weekend, the Courage will have the most wins ever in league history. They are currently tied with the 2014 Seattle Reign FC team who won 16 games.


Who doesn’t like a feel-good story? I know I do. Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp was interviewed by a fan for Make-A-Wish.

Manchester United kicked their Group A campaign in UEFA Champions League action into high gear with a commanding 4-1 win over CSKA Moscow. Jose Mourinho said CSKA didn’t “look good because of us”.

It looked like Chelsea would only get one point on the road against Athletico Madrid, but a goal by Michy Batshuayi at the death gave them the full three points.
