Sounders vs Timbers, Portland wins shootout: Full Coverage

Raúl Ruidíaz may be on the losing side, but his scoring prowess cannot be doubted. He scored three goals in the two leg series against the Portland Timbers.

Leg One

Ended with a 2-1 loss to the Portland Timbers. Raul Ruidiaz, Jeremy Ebobisse and Sebastián Blanco scored the goals, in that order.

The Sounders will advance with a 1-nil win and any win by two or more goals. All other results mean that leg two is the last match of the season.

Leg Two

Went into extra time after a 2-1 win by the Sounders. In extra time both sides scored a goal. Portland won the penalty shootout 4-2.
