In the wake of their exit from the postseason, three Seattle Sounders have been called up by their respective national teams for international duty. Raul Ruidiaz (Peru), Nicolas Lodeiro (Uruguay), Gustav Svensson (Sweden), Kim Kee-hee (South Korea), and Jordy Delem (Martinique) will all be busy next week.

Ruidiaz will travel to his native Peru for friendlies against Ecuador and Costa Rica on Thursday and Nov. 20, respectively.

Lodeiro has a longer journey overseas for La Celeste, heading to London for a high-profile friendly against Brazil Friday, followed by a trip to Paris to take on World Cup-champions France on Nov. 20.

Svensson will be the only player departing to take part in actual competition. Sweden will play the final matches in its UEFA Nations League group against Turkey on Thursday and Russia on Nov. 20. Playing in Group 2, Sweden is currently bottom of the three-team group, but has a game in hand against Russia and Turkey. With two wins and a large enough switch in goal differential, Sweden still has a chance to secure promotion to the A League for next season.

Kim is heading down under, where he will join South Korea for friendlies against Australia (Nov. 17) and Uzbekistan (Nov. 20). He last appeared for South Korea during World Cup Qualifying

Delem and Martinique take on Antigua & Barbuda (Nov. 19) in CONCACAF Nations League Qualifying action. Martinique is 2-0-0, +5 and currently 9th. This would qualify them for the 2019 Gold Cup and CONCACAF Nations League B when that tournament starts.

This story was updated with callup information for Kim and Delem.
