Just in case the inconvenience of having to play their home leg of the Western Conference semifinals three days early wasn’t enough, Seattle Sounders ticket holders were advised this week that the West Concourse will be closed during Thursday’s match. Most notably, that means that anyone who normally enters the stadium through the southwest gate will need to enter the stadium another way.
Those most affected are fans in sections 129-141 who would normally access their seats through the West Concourse.
Season-ticket representatives have apparently been calling fans with seats in affected sections in an attempt to mitigate any inconvenience, according to a team spokesperson.
If you haven’t been told, though, we reached out to the club and were sent this advice:
Sections 129-131 and 229-230
- Enter the stadium through the South Gate and proceed to the SW main level near the Brougham Beer Hall. Enter the tunnel near section 127 and walk north to access your seats. Please exit the same way.
Sections 132-138
- Enter the stadium either through the South or NW Gate. From the South Gate, take the ramp, stairs or elevator up to the Delta Sky360 Club Level. From the NW Gate, take the ramp, stairs or elevator up to the Delta Sky360 Club Level. There will be an additional Club express elevator located in the NW corner of the stadium, just inside the glass doors. Once you reach the Delta Sky360 Club Level, walk down to your seats. Please exit the same way.
Club sections 231-239
- Enter the stadium either through the South or NW Gate. From the South Gate, take the ramp, stairs or elevator up to the Delta Sky360 Club Level. From the NW Gate, take the ramp, stairs or elevator up to the Delta Sky360 Club Level. There will be an additional Club express elevator located in the NW corner of the stadium, just inside the glass doors. Once you reach the Delta Sky360 Club Level, walk down to your seats. Please exit the same way.
All fans on west side
- Restroom and concessions in the club section will be made available to anyone with tickets in sections 129-141. There will also be additional mobile concessions.
- The main Pro Shop will only be accessible from Occidental Avenue South.
